The Intensive English Program (IEP) is a department at West Virginia University  in Morgantown, West Virginia. It is located in the Downtown Campus. The IEP refers not just to the faculty, staff, and teachers, but also the students and courses which are taught to students. Students are taught English classes, which are separated into skill groups.¹ The student body is very diverse, with speakers of Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. Students prepare for university classes at WVU, and also practice for taking the TOEFL. It is directed by the current director, Stacy Fint. The IEP offices are located in Eiesland Hall, but classes are taught across the Downtown campus, in buildings such as Hodges Hall, Woodburn Hall, Oglebay Hall, and others.
